ABOUT US

It all started in a classroom. Our founders, Luisina, Julia, and Davina met as first year students at the Pennsylvania State University in their Honors Rhetoric and Civic Life class. The three students believed educating women is a critical step to decrease poverty and advance economic and social development. When their class was asked to create an advocacy project at the end of the course, the three young women came together. Through their passion for equal access to education and women’s empowerment, the Writes for Her Rights project was born.

A message from our founders:

“It is our goal to spread awareness and advocate for women’s education around the globe, and we hope that you join us in our mission to ensure equal access to education.”
